In 2020 the company Șantierul Naval Mangalia S.A. has implemented an extensive " Reorganization and restructuring plan in order to restructure the company's outstanding budgetary obligations to ANAF in accordance with the provisions of Government Ordinance no. 6/2019" .
The plan was approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders of Șantierul Naval Mangalia S.A. on 27.01.2020, and in addition to measures to restructure the company's arrears, it also included measures for the re-technologization and rehabilitation of existing production capacities.
In mid-2020, the investment to rehabilitate and modernize the Launch-landing route, so that at the present time the facility is operating under maximum safety conditions and can dock ships with a displacement of up to 800 tons.
In November 2020 the company appointed to monitor the implementation of the measures of the Reorganization and restructuring plan drew up a final report noting its completion.
As a result of the program, in 2020 investments of approx. 1 mil. Euro and all historical debts of approx. 3,8 mil. Euro, so that on 31.12.2020, Șantierul Naval Mangalia S.A. no outstanding debts (obligations and accessories) to the consolidated state budget.
