Șantierul Naval Mangalia S.A. is recruiting General Manager

Societatea Șantierul Naval Mangalia S.A. is a commercial company under the authority of the Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, part of the defence production sector, established by HG no. 952/27.09.2001.

The company's main activity is "Repair and maintenance of ships and boats" - CAEN code 3315. The activity also includes the building of ships and floating structures - CAEN code 3011, the building of pleasure craft, metal constructions and the manufacture of various metal components.

In accordance with the provisions of GEO 109/2011 on corporate governance of public enterprises and 232/2016, Șantierul Naval Mangalia S.A. has selected SC Krownlex SRL to assist in the selection process for the position of General Manager.

Requirements:

Ensuring an efficient management of economic operators in the national defense industry with wholly and/or majority state capital is carried out, according to the legal provisions in force, with directors / members of the board of directors with at least 10 years of seniority in the job, of which 5 years in entities with at least 20 employees;

- 5 years of experience in the management of public institutions, companies with full or majority state or private capital, in the civil/military naval field;

- Minimum 10 years of work experience of which 5 years in entities with at least 20 employees, with an advantage in the civil/military naval field;

- A university degree with diploma;

- Experience in negotiation, social dialog, institutional and interpersonal communication;

- Knowledge of the legal system in which a shipyard operates - an advantage;

- Technical knowledge in the naval field - advantage;

- Knowledge of English - advanced level;

- Knowledge of another language of international circulation - an advantage;

- Computer skills, Office package;

- Ability to interpret economic and financial analysis;

- Knowledge establishing performance indicators according to OUG 109/2011;

- Management skills;

- Negotiation and communication skills, both institutional and interpersonal;

- Ability to coordinate and organize subordinate staff;

- Results orientation;

- Crisis management skills;

- Has not been dismissed from public office, had her/his contract of mandate revoked or had her/his individual employment contract terminated for disciplinary reasons in the last 5 years;

- Not to have been convicted of fraudulent mismanagement, breach of trust, forgery, forgery, fraud, embezzlement, embezzlement, false testimony, giving or taking bribes, for the offenses provided for in Law no. 129/2019 for the prevention and combating money laundering and terrorist financing with subsequent amendments and additions;

- Knowledge of legislation on corporate governance of public enterprises;

- Driving license cat. B.

Responsibilities:

- Implementation of the company's development strategy and policies established by the Board of Directors;

- Checking the functioning of the management internal control system;

- Approval of the conclusion of contracts within the limits provided for by the legal framework;

- Implementation of BoD decisions, informing directors/shareholders of any event likely to have a significant influence on the company's situation;

- Take all necessary measures to protect the assets, rights and interests of society;

- Ensuring equal opportunities and equal treatment for employees and partners;

- Attend the meetings of the Administrative Board to which he/she is invited;

- Contribute to the preparation of Board meetings by providing accurate, complete and timely information, documents and professional opinions on the issues under discussion;

- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's staff appraisal system;

- Contributing to the formulation of proposals of objectives for the negotiation of the collective bargaining agreement, commercial contracts and other conventions/agreements to which the company is party;

- Contribute to updating internal regulations and comply with them;

- Prompt, complete and documented communication of information on any matters likely to be brought to the attention of, or subject to the decision of, the Board of Directors and/or the General Meeting of Shareholders and/or internal/external auditors;

- Contributing to drawing up and updating the annual procurement plan, the annual investment plan and other programmatic documents of the company;

- Respect confidentiality rules;

- Compliance with integrity criteria;

- Determining the subordinate staff to execute, within the limits of their functions, any useful or necessary action for the fulfillment of the provisions of the Contract of Mandate.
